Overview
Noxly is a social discovery app built around a simple question: who is actually going to be there? Before you commit to a bar, a club, or an event, Noxly lets you see who is going — turning "where should we go tonight" into a decision you can make with real information instead of a guess.
The idea
Most venue and event apps tell you what is on. They rarely tell you the thing that actually decides whether a night is worth it: who else will be there. Noxly puts people, events, and venues into one feed and matches on location, so the social signal — not just the listing — is the point.
How it is built
The frontend is Next.js with TypeScript, with a FastAPI backend planned behind it. The current focus is the frontend experience — getting the discovery feed and the "see who's going" interaction to feel right before wiring up the full realtime social backend.
Status
Noxly is in early development, frontend-first. The concept and core feed are taking shape ahead of the backend build-out.
